PERKY PARK MUSIC are Walter Merziger, Arno Kammermeier and Peter Hayo.
The three composers and producers have been collaborating on a wide variety of musical projects for the last 15 years.

Besides single productions for NO ANGELS – including No. 1 hit »It’s all in your mind« – and pop and big band cover versions of the Alison Moyet classic »All cried out« Perky Park have also produced all titles for both seasons of STAR SEARCH (SAT 1), TV movie soundtracks for PRO 7 and ZDF as well as music for commercials by e. g. AUDI, WELLA, BMW, MINI, LEVIS, WEST, BOSS, ESCADA and many others.

Their songs for POPSTARS bands PRELUDERS and OVERGROUND not only graced the groups’ singles (both went to No. 1 in Germany) but also appeared on a TV ALLSTARS album (top 5 in Germany) featuring Universal Music artists.
Together with HEAVEN 17 singer Glenn Gregory. Perky Perk also released a successful dance/pop hit as GOLDPEOPLE: »Music don’t stop«.

In 2003 alone, PERKY PARK reached the Top 100 single charts nine times (including three #1 and two #20) and the album charts six times (including one #1, three #5 and one #20).

Production company PERKY PARK MUSIC emerged out of the artist-songwriter and producer team of Walter Merziger, Arno Kammermeier and Peter Hayo, which in 1988 as the synthie pop band “PLANET CLAIRE” generated two albums and the chart hit »Heaven in your Hands«.

The house and techno euphoria which began in the early 1990s brought PERKY PARK MUSIC to Frankfurt. From then onwards, they produced loads of club tracks on internationally acknowledged labels such as Harthouse, Touché, R&S, Noom, Music Man and many more.

One of those club hits, the trance classic »Una musica senza ritmo« by DEGENERATION, was recently re-released in Europe, the USA and Japan featuring up-to-date mixes.

The increasing popularity of electronic music eventually led to songs which the trio wrote for international pop acts like CULTURE BEAT. Many of these songs made it into the german and international charts. »Rendez Vous« turned into the biggest radio hit for Culture Beat (Top 4 in the airplay charts). The hit single »Walk the same line« and several songs for the albums »Metamorphosis« and »Inside Out« also originate from PERKY PARK.

Hits by international stars have been remixed by PERKY PARK, including MYLèNE FARMER (french megastar, »L’âme, stram, gram« and »Je te rends ton amour«), ALIZÉE (Gourmandises) and italian rock singer ZUCCHERO (Baila Sexy Thing).
